Mermaid & Pirate Party Ideas – Twins Birthday Party

When you have not one, but TWO, little people to celebrate a birthday for, it can be hard to find the perfect theme! Check this Mermaid and Pirate Party theme that is great for twins! This is Paula’s Mermaid & Pirate party, she created this amazing party and I had the honor to help her with the backdrop, invitations, party favor tags, and some other printables.

They are perhaps the most fortunate little children in the world because Paula is the most talented pastry chef and party planner that I have had the pleasure of knowing. I had already had the opportunity to collaborate with Paula on another very nice project of an Easter party that she celebrated last year. She ordered the easter set from my store and I use it in the wonderful decoration of the children’s party you can see the party here.

Backdrop Mermaid & Pirate – CREATIVE PROCESS

My passion is to design cute and tender characters and everything related to parties. I believe that I came to this world to bring joy and happiness to the lives of others. I feel very fortunate to do what I do every day and help create wonderful parties. I love seeing the whole process that one of my designs has and everything that people sometimes do not see. The magic started with Paula’s ideas. She wanted a mermaid and pirate theme party that had a unique style using my handmade touch. I imagined a world full of fantasies and hidden treasures … A world with colorful Mermaids that sing beautiful songs in the sea. “Mermaid & pirates” is the perfect party theme for a fun party for boys and girls both assume roles that admire and have fun. Here you can see all the details of the party especially the sweets that Paula’s talent of creating incredible figures made of candy. You will see mermaid tails, treasure chests, crabs, treasure maps and cute sea creatures.

1. PARTY BACKDROP

I really enjoyed creating the backdrop for Paula’s party. I enjoyed every moment of the process. You can understand and see the step by step process of creating this design here. It all started on a sheet of my favorite drawing sketch and ended up being this wonderful background for her twins. I sent Paula the final file so she could print it in her city. Those are the things that make technology something incredible, to design and plan a party being in different places of the world.
